Since 1973, the beautifully restored 1891 Victorian house has welcomed visiting Floridians, students, dignitaries, elected officials and those doing business in the nation's capital. As a Floridian, our convenient Capitol Hill location, one block from the Capitol, across the street from the Supreme Court and Library of Congress, make Florida House an easy first stop upon arriving in our nation's capital. The House is open Monday through Friday, 9 am - 5 pm, and is closed on Federal holidays.
Our central location and beautifully restored home is a perfect venue for meetings, lobbying days, staff retreats, cocktail parties, intimate dinners or even weddings.
Florida House was purchased and is maintained solely by contributions for the citizens of Florida. No state or federal tax dollars are used in any way to support Florida House.
